More injury trouble for Real Madrid: Kovacic
More bad news for Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane, during the Champions League match against APOEL at the Bernabéu, with midfielder Kovacic forced off injured.The Croatian hurt himself playing what appeared to be an easy ball to Marcelo, apparently suffering a muscle strain in his left leg.
Kovacic was forced to leave the pitch, in the 19th minute, and was clearly highly upset by what had happened. He was replaced by Kroos, who took several minutes to take the pitch, as he wasn't prepared to come on.
Karim Benzema is also out, having picked up an injury on Saturday against Levante.
